I tried these PB + oat balls for the first time a couple weeks ago & knew I had to make them again ASAP! They're perfect whether it be in the mornings for a quick little breakfast, in the afternoons for a pick-me-up, or in the evenings if you're needing to satisfy your sweet tooth.
This is the first blog post of my Easy Snack Ideas Series! Let me know if you try this easy recipe out and let me know if there's different ingredients you use in your own energy bites! I'd love to try out different ways of making these!
LET'S GET STARTED --
2 cups of oats
1 cup of peanut butter
2/3 cup of honey
1/3 cup of flax seeds or chia seeds (I used flax seeds)
2/3 cup of dark chocolate chips
optional: 1 cup of shredded coconut (I haven't done this yet, but definitely am going to try next time)
optional: 2 very ripe bananas
mix all ingredients
form into balls (make them as big or little as you please)
pop them into the fridge & let them sit to firm up
then enjoy :)
